Description: Adhezive for expanded polystyrene for inside end outside

Caracteristics: •composition: cement, minerale addition, polymers to improve the adherence , plastifiers •water to need: 0,24 – 0,26 l/kg (6 – 6,5 liter / bag) •open time: min. 20 minutes (time to apply polystyrene on a surface (open time) •for inside and outside works for covering with thermo-insulating plates or expanded polystyrene ornaments, mineral cotton, plates from polyurethane foam, fiberfoam, etc. on plasters, smooth floors, concrete, autoclaved cell concrete, bricklaying blocks, etc.

Domain of use: For thermo and phonic insulating works with expanded polystyrene, mineral cotton, plates from polyurethane foam, fiberfoam, etc. also for sticking of polystyrene or rigid polystyrene ornaments, in the inside and outside of buildings.

Preparation of working surface: The support surface must be clean, hard, without detached areas and good reinforce, after an aging time of at least 28 days. The surface must be controlled with the hammer, if its resistant is sufficient to support plating.

Application mode: Used utensils: •pail •mechanical or manual stirrer •trowel •6 x 6 mm to 12 x 12 mm toothed smoother •carpenter Introduce the powder in water and start to mix. Both, the recipient and the used water must be clean. It will be recommended to mix one time, just the quantity of material needed one hour. The stirring will be intensively, preferably mechanical (to attach an axle with palettes to an electrical piercer), to obtain a cream–mix, homogenous, easy to be processed. After waiting 10 minutes to fulfill the chemical reactions, it will be stirred intensively again. Put the paste on the polystyrene surface, spots in equal distances of 15 – 20 cm and on the edge 3 – 4 cm breadth stripes. The polystyrene plate will be pressed on the insulating surface. The straight surface will be obtained pressing more surface plates, using a long wooden or metallic jointing rule. The rigid mineral cotton will be applied on the surface with a polishing device with tooth of 8 x 8 mm – 12 x 12 mm. The paste will be applied on the support surface in a thickness of 4 -5 mm, than rake with a tooth polisher. The properties of applied paste maintain its properties min. 20 minutes. The adhesive capacity of the paste will be controlled touching the surface with the far-off fingers of the hand. If the paste glues on the fingers, the adhesive is suitable. After 24 hours from the application of the thermo –and phonic-insulate plates, over the polystyrene plate or the rigid mineral cotton plate, the same adhesive will be applied with a polisher with tooth of 6 x 6 mm – 10 x 10 mm. Beginning with the surface upside a glass fiber net covered with plastic material, will be rewind, the orifices of 5 x 5mm - 10 x 10mm and press in the existent stripes. With the right side of the polisher introduce uniformly inside the adhesive. The net rows superpose on section of at least 10 cm.

Recomandations: After at least 24 hours, the surface may be covered or finished with all the known materials, without organic solvents. The recommendation for expanded polystyrene insulate is a cover with plaster ornaments, as last finish.

Storage: In dry places, in closed state, on wooden pallets.

Packing: In 25 kg bags.

Specific consumption: I.phase – for stick of plates: 2,5 – 3,5 kg/m2.
